Jonathan ColeOwnerMy interest in fashion came at a early age. I would always watch my father who had a great sense of style. He put thought and effort into everything he wore and would make sure that my brothers and I looked our best on every occasion.
I would say I really started to develop my own sense of style when I was a teenager. Looking back, it’s funny because throughout grammar and high school I wore uniforms, but I would pick out the best quality shirts and slacks and make sure everything was creased and pressed the night before school. When I got older, my enthusiasm never left, I subscribed to fashion magazines and saved all the issues as a reference to putting different looks and ideas together. |
The moment I realized that I wanted to do more with my love for fashion was on a shopping trip to New York. Meeting people in the industry who started with a love just like mine inspired me. Those conversations ignited a fire in me that’s unexplainable but I felt like I belonged and hearing how other people started their careers - I knew I needed to start taking steps in that direction.
